| The Microsoft Windows 7 system operates slightly differently to previous systems. To make compatibility easier for our users, we have changed slightly the way our “Program Install” will now operate. |
Installing a program
Previous “Program Installs” automatically place the program in:
- (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+) folder in
- the Program Files folder on
The new “Program Install” will place the program in:
- (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+) folder in
- the A++ Software folder on

You will now have to decide:
- To change the location of your data file folder (i)
-or -
- To change the destination location of the program (ii)
|
(i) Changing the Destination Folder of the program install
During the install process you may select the Destination Location
The default will be:
C / A++Software/ (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+)
You may change the Destination Folder to:
C / Program Files / (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+)
After installing please open the (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+) folder and make sure your new program has been installed correctly by checking the date of the program. |
(ii) Changing the location of your data
Alternatively you may change the location of your data to the new A++ Software Folder on your C drive.
Select the (A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+) folder in the Program Files folder and copy.
Open the A++ Software folder on your C drive and paste the ((A++3 or COOL or Payroll or POS+) folder.
